ACE FREHLEY JOINS ALICE COOPER OZ TOUR

ACE FREHLEY READY TO THRILL AUSTRALIAN AUDIENCES THIS OCTOBER, AS VERY SPECIAL GUEST ON THE ‘SPEND THE NIGHT WITH ALICE COOPER’ CONCERT TOUR

The rock and roll event of the year featuring Alice Cooper and Very Special Guest, Ace Frehley, will make its way around Australia at the end of October. So strong is the demand for tickets that concerts in Melbourne and Brisbane have moved to arenas, Adelaide has just sold out, and other cities are nearing sell out.
Ace Frehley is one of the world’s great guitarists, a mantel he has held for more than 40 years.  As the original lead guitarist of Kiss, his influence has been acknowledged by artists such as Dave Grohl, Slash, John 5 and many of today’s generation of guitar heroes.

Ace wrote some of the big Kiss hits – songs such Cold Gin, Parasite and Shock Me – many of which the band still play today.  He departed the band after their Farewell Tour concluded in 2002. Ace also enjoyed great success in Australia in particular with songs like New York Groove, 2,000 Man, Talk To Me and many others.
Ace quit Kiss in 1982 and returned to the scene with a new band in tow, Frehley’s Comet which released 3 albums through the 80’s.  Ace then re-joined Kiss for their reunion tour in 1996 and returned to solo albums in 2003.  His most recent release, Origins Vol. 1 included guests like Slash, Lita Ford and even old band mate Paul Stanley on one track.

After a sold out 2015 Australian and New Zealand Tour, Ace joins Alice Cooper for a dream pairing of rock and roll legends who are still at the top of their game! Ace will perform a 60-minute set, playing his Kiss hits and a selection of his most popular solo songs.  And of course he will be bringing his smoking guitar!
“When Kiss first started, we would see Alice Cooper – we were all fans of his.  It dawned on us, what if there were FOUR “Alice Coopers” onstage.”  Frehley says.
Alice Cooper infamously attended Kiss’ media launch in 1973 when they were signed to their first record deal and was quoted as saying “What these guys need…. is a gimmick”.

Ace has released a limited number of Meet and Greet VIP Upgrades that are available NOW from www.acefrehley.com  – so if you have ever wanted to meet the original Spaceman, get his signature and a photo with him, head over to his site before they are all gone!
“My life has been a roller coaster ride, but somehow I’ve always been able to land on my feet and still play the guitar.  I can’t even read notes. But I can teach someone how to make a guitar smoke.” Says Frehley.

Ace and his band will be performing on all shows.  The dates are as follows:
