The Summer 2002 edition included:

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS - Coming up to their 20th birthday in February, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are making some of their best music.

THE VINES - In an era filled with the promise of great new hopes for rock, 2002’s title already belongs to a young quartet from Sydney called ‘The Vines’ and their debut album, Highly Evolved.

MOTOR ACE -
From the very beginning Motor Ace were hungry...hungry to be heard, hungry for life, and hungry for feeling.

COG - Cog are a 3 piece alternative rock band who are unafraid to experiment. Melody, power and sweeping changes are found throughout their material and they are pushing the boundaries with their complex, moody, atmospheric rock.

GARY MOORE - What better way to get the true lowdown on guitar legend Gary Moore than to put another blues guitarist on the other end of the phone firing questions down the line. Australian Musician assigned local blues identity, and self-confessed Moore fan,  Jimi ‘The Human" Hocking to the task.

MGF - Machine Gun Fellatio has become one of Australia's most popular acts. The band received an ARIA nomination for Best New Artist - Single for Girl of My Dreams (Is Giving Me Nightmares) and other tracks from their latest album Paging Mr. Strike including Roller coaster and Pussy Town and have been on high rotation play on most of the country's major radio networks.

Gear road tested in the current edition includes:
- LEM CYCLOPS PA SYSTEM
- Casio PS-20 Digital Piano
- Roland Studio Package Pro-SI24
- Fender Showcaster & Jason Ellis Squier Guitars
- Ashton BA300H Bass Amplifier and BQ410 4x10 Speaker Box
