Other features in this edition:

AC/DC CLEAN UP IN READER'S POLL -  The legendary AC/DC cleaned up outright in two major categories including Best Australian Band and Best Album (for Back in Black). In the Best Riff category, they also finished 2nd to England's Deep Purple, making Back in Black Best Australian Riff of all time. If that wasn't enough, Angus Young finished as 4th Best Guitarist overall, making him the number one Australian guitarist as voted by our readers. To celebrate, longtime AC/DC fan Murray Englehart looks back at the classic "Back in Black" album.

LES CLAYPOOL -  Les Claypool, front man for nineties eclectic rock trio Primus, international bass guitar legend, voted third best bass player of all time by Australian Musician readers, and suspected loon. Interviewed in this edition of Australian Musician by Ground Component bass player Indra Adams.

EVERMORE -  Evermore's debut album "Dreams", overseen by respected producer Barrett Jones (Nirvana, Foo Fighters), has garnered an impressive array of complimentary reviews. Australian Musician asked 17 year old drummer Dann to document some time on the road with the band.

STEVEN ROSEN - If you've been a regular fan of international musician magazines such as Guitar World, Guitar Player, Player, or Creem over the last two decades, chances are you have read a cover story or main feature written by respected US rock journalist Steven Rosen. Steven has played a major role in shaping other American music publications with his insightful and often exclusive interviews with rock legends from Jeff Beck, Led Zeppelin, Brian Wilson, Ginger Baker and Paul McCartney to modern day heroes such as The Chili Peppers, Green Day and Dream Theater. Australian Musician is pleased to have Steven join our humble team!

TEN YEARS IN THE SPOTLIGHT -  For this 10th anniversary issue, Australian Musician asks members of emerging bands from that era - Bernard Fanning and Darren Middleton from Powderfinger, Ben Gillies from Silverchair and Janet English from Spiderbait - on their recollections from the period and their thoughts about how things have changed.
