JURASSIC JAM 3 ROCKS THE TRIFFID (QLD)

JJ2

After two successful years, Jurassic Jam is proving to be a popular draw card at leading Brisbane entertainment venue The Triffid.

Jurassic Jam 3, being held on Saturday 9 September, has attracted a who’s who of Brisbane’s corporate world – and that’s on the stage!
Several of Brisbane’s leading businessmen trade their suits for rock attire, to show their worthy skills as true music performers.
“This is no karaoke event,” Triffid co-owner and former Powderfinger bass player John Collins says.
“They really know how to get a crowd going, and with more than 600 guests expected, you’d better get tickets fast.”

These musos (barristers, lawyers, accountants, bankers, retailers etc.) have been playing in bands for more than 30 years and the chance to get together under one roof is one they don’t let pass.

Not only is this event a whole lot of fun, it has successfully raised more than $70,000 for AEIOU Foundation for children with autism. Jurassic Jam 3 will continue to support AEIOU, which provides life-changing early intervention for children with autism and their families.

The event starts from 2.00pm and the stellar lineup consists of Roger the Cabin Boy, Mardi Wilson, Shag Rock, Rick Hopkins, Jump the Shark, The Manilows, The Vinyl Frontier, and The Handovers.

The Triffid is at 9 Stratton Street, Newstead. General admission is 18+ and tickets are $45.30, with all proceeds going to AEIOU Foundation.
